Health
Access to reliable healthcare can make a life changing difference for families in Desarmes, Haiti. Through our partnership with Shelter of Hope, we support the Centre Medico Communautaire Guignace Majuin (CMCGM), a community clinic serving people in this remote, mountainous region.
With the help of generous donors, we funded the installation of solar panels to provide reliable electricity for the clinic. Previously dependent on gasoline generators, the clinic now has a more dependable source of power to provide lighting after dark, improve safety, and support its mission of serving the community.
Education
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. Through the Institution Classique de Guignace Majuin (ICGM), we help provide students in Desarmes with access to education despite the financial challenges many families face. Tuition assistance helps children attend school and pursue opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
Graduating from school and passing Haiti's national examinations is a significant achievement that reflects years of hard work and perseverance. Through the generosity of our supporters, we help students work toward this milestone, opening doors to new opportunities and a brighter future for themselves and their families.

Through our ministry, we strive to build a stronger community rooted in faith, compassion, and service, while continuing to support the vision of a church that will provide a place for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
About Global Outreach Hope Network
Global Outreach Hope Network (GOHN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2012 to connect supporters in the United States with the Shelter of Hope mission in Desarmes, Haiti. Through fundraising, prayer, and community partnerships, we help support tuition for students attending the Institution Classique de Guignace Majuin (ICGM) and healthcare services at the Centre Medico Communautaire Guignace Majuin (CMCGM).
What began with a small, dedicated group committed to helping children attend school has grown into an ongoing effort to strengthen the community through education, healthcare, and Christian ministry. Our work is made possible by the generosity of donors and volunteers who share our commitment to serving the people of Desarmes.
What Are We Doing in Haiti?
Haiti shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic. Many communities face significant challenges, including poverty, deforestation, soil erosion, and natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes. These conditions can make it difficult for families to grow food, access essential resources, and overcome economic hardship.
In the remote, mountainous community of Desarmes, these challenges make local support especially important. Through our partnership with Shelter of Hope, we help sustain educational opportunities and community healthcare while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. With the support of our donors and volunteers, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of local children and families.
